Born in Maine, Criminal Defense Attorney Scott Lawrence moved with his family to the Seattle area at the age of 4. A “life-long” Washington resident, Mr. Lawrence ventured off to Eugene, Oregon for law school. At the Univeristy of Oregon, School of Law, Mr. Lawrence quickly fell in love with the area of criminal law eventually earning a juris doctorate with an additional criminal practice certificate. In addition to Criminal Law he studied Forensic Law, Constitutional Law, White Collar Crime, Post-Conviction Relief, Trial Practice and much more. His last year of law school was spent at the Lane County Public Defender Association in a program specifically designed to teach DUI defense. Yes, Mr. Lawrence is that rare combination of Husky and Duck, a “duckdauwg,” but there is no question where his allegiances lie (go dawgs!).

As a referee he is a former “National Referee” and officiated professional and college soccer, before family and a law practice took priority.
